Tourism was one of the dominant sectors of the global economy before the covid epidemic and there is no doubt that it will be again after the crisis. It is for this reason that the volume and performance of tourism has drawn attention not only to its economic impact, but also to its impact on society and the natural environment. As the positive impacts are accompanied by significant negative impacts, operating in a sustainable way has become a key issue for tourism and a challenge for all players in the sector._x000D_

The characteristics of tourism are particularly strong in large cities, where tourist attractions and services are concentrated. In line with consumer trends, the growing importance of gamification in tourism is observed, which also points to the development of creative tourism supply._x000D_

Budapest plays a key role in tourism in Hungary and is the centre of creative tourism. Therefore, our research focuses on Budapest. Our aim is to examine the creative tourism services in the capital city, with a focus on sustainability. We are looking for answers to the question of how exit game service providers contribute to the realisation of the principles of sustainability within the range of creative tourism services, and whether they contribute at all. Our research is based on websites analysis, complemented by a territorial analysis. As a result of our research, we expect to identify tourist services in Budapest that could serve as useful examples for other cities.
